| The NASA Informal Education is a program that strives to improve public understanding and appreciation of science and technology. It offers motivating and exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning experiences, outside of the formal classroom. This is accomplished through various methods such as media, exhibits, community-based programming, etc. |

| Kennedy Education Experiences Program (KEEP) |
| The KEEP is a shadowing program intended to provide students with an opportunity to explore career possibilities in an operations environment while under the guidance of a NASA Kennedy Space Center scientist, engineer, technician or professional administrator that serves as the student's mentor. Participation in the program is limited to students who have been recommended by a teacher, guidance counselor, or other school official. Students may shadow for 1 day or up to one week. |
