Program Description
The Florida Space Grant Consortium sees ourselves
developing stronger contacts with government,
industry, and educational partners, and using
these contacts and partnerships to further meet
the needs of Florida’s educational system. In
addition, FSGC will work closely with Kennedy
Space Center (KSC), as KSC moves its focus to
becoming a Spaceport Technology Center. This
close interaction will afford greater opportunities
for our award recipients to perform research
and investigations on projects that will be
utilized by real-world space-related projects
and missions.
Program Goal
The Florida Space Grant Consortium will support
the expansion and diversification of Florida’s
space industry, through providing grants, scholarships,
and fellowships to students and educators from
Florida’s public and private institutes of higher
education.
