Program Description
The Access program is designed for undergraduate
and graduate students with disabilities who
have strong backgrounds in science and a desire
to pursue technical careers. Students will work
with scientists and engineers in an area compatible
with their skills and interests. This is a chance
for participants to apply academic skills in
the workplace and obtain practical professional
experience.
Program Goal
The goal of this program is to provide work
experiences at a NASA Center to undergraduate
and graduate students with disabilities who
are studying engineering, mathematics, physical
sciences, or computer science.
Eligibility
Full-time undergraduate or graduate student,
majoring in a technical field, i.e. computer
science, engineering, mathematics, physical
sciences
3.0 Grade Point Average
U.S. Citizen
Enrolled in a 4-year accredited institution
or in a graduate school
