Both courses meet the
quality standards of an ABET-accredited program and implement the NASA
systems engineering process. All NASA engineering projects implement
the NASA systems engineering process; therefore, the courses will help
prepare your students to work for NASA and space industry partners.
Limited funding is available to compensate eligible faculty for the
travel expenses incurred while attending the workshop. In order to apply
for reimbursement, check the appropriate box on the attached registration
form and in the description area include your proposed expenses. In order
to be compensated for travel, the faculty member must be a U.S citizen;
however, foreign nationals are welcome to attend the workshop using their
own funding. Travel compensation will be approved for applicants on a
first-come, first-served basis while funds remain available. To improve
your chances to receive compensation for travel expenses, please submit your
registration as soon as possible.
The workshop is an
entire day, 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on May 27, 2009 at the Kennedy Space
Center. There will be an optional tour and networking dinner offered
the Tuesday prior to the event. If interested in attending either
